Is there a particualr European dish (apart from Creme Brulee, Pasta and Sausages) that require a particular?!

Question: piece of equipment/particular method to make?

Answers: piece of equipment/particular method to make?

To make R?sti properly, you steam the potatoes in their skins the night before, then peel them and grate them on a grater with large holes - larger than those found on normal graters.
Vermicelli, made with chestnut puree has to be squeezed through a syringe-type piece of equipment with holes in it, so that the vermicelli comes out looking like brown spaghetti (or worms as the name implies).

Panetone- the Italian cake/bread- it's hung from the ceiling on hooks to get that lightness on the inside.

Sausages don't necessarily need a machine to make- I make mine by hand.

Tartaren-Hut

What is a Tartaren hut ? Originally from central Asia, a hat shaped table top grill which you hang pieces of meat on and cook to your preferred taste, below the grill is a reservoir filled with rice and chicken stock which is then enriched with the juices of the grilled meats and served with country fries salad and a selection of sauces.
