Best recipe using kielbasa or German sausage?!

Question: Other ingredients fine, too.

Answers: Other ingredients fine, too.

This is one of my favorites:

Rice and Beans and Sausage

3 celery ribs, chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 3/4 cups V8 juice (or tomato juice)
2 16 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
3/4 tsp dried oregano
3/4 tsp. dried thyme
1/2-3/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (less if you don't like spicy)
1/2 tsp pepper
2 lb. fully cooked smoked kielbasa cut into 1/4 inch slices.
4 cups cooked rice

Combine all ingredients except rice in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Serve over rice. Yummy!!

Make spaghetti, use the sausage instead of hamburger or meatballs. This gives a little extra zing to the spaghetti.

f you're a fan of German food, you'll enjoy this traditional combination of sausage, cabbage and potatoes . This hearty main dish is so good, all you need is a bowl of fruit and dinner's ready.

German Style Kielbasa

even my picky girls like this one!

My mom usally cuts it up and frys it with potatoes and eggs for like a breakfast skillet

We cut it up and add it to shells and cheese all the time. You may have to add some extra cheese though. What I actually do is cook the noodles, add the sausage when its almost done, then put it in a baking dish with extra veleveta cheese and milk and heat it in the oven for about 10-15 mins. You have to stir it up when you take it out of the oven, but its great, quick, and fairly easy.

growing up with a lot of German dishes, this is ONE of my favorites. I have many....I love German food.
