Only if yee eat it 4 hours prior to bed-time.
Enjoy.

yes that is why the indeans dont get much sleep because they use curry instead of flower

It probably upset your digestive tract making sleep difficult.

No it does not I eat curry all the time and it is one of my favorite foods I have never had any sleeping problems, maybe it was just something else.

Not for me, I love curried foods, I suspect it was your metabolism getting a kick start that caused you not to sleep so well.

I eat curry all the time and it doesnt have any effects on me.Or maybe u ate to near 2 ur bedtime and you are not used to having spicy food.Tat are some of the reasons i can think of.

Yes it does cause some strange uncomfortable feeling and the urge to have so much of water. Its for the condiments they use in it, the fellow responsible is the long dried aniseed and the algae they use to enrich the custom flavor of Indian Tikka Masala. Try out the Punjabi style Cooking its much lighter in condiments and has curd as the base of cooking the dish.

If you are new to curries & spicy food, you could expect a digestive problem especially.if eaten late at night, this could also be the answer to your sleep disturbance.Always a good idea to start with mildly spiced foods until you are sure it is the thing for you, also tone down the spice effect by eating the yougurt salad served with most dishes , called 'raita' ,.a tall glass of lassi with the meal also tones down the effect of spice.Generally milk or milk products should accompany a spicy meal for novice curry fans.

If it is too hot and spicy, it can cause heartburn.
