What does your grocery list look like?!

Question: Most often, Garlic, onions, bell pepper, celery, cabbage or lettuce, fruit... whatever is on sale that week, bread, pasta, rice noodles, chicken, beef, pork, lamb.... if the price is right, juice, butter, skim milk, frozen peas, green beans, or corn, frozen fish. Not very imaginative, but it works.... and occasionally some chocolate, olive oil, nuts, sprouts and spices.... if I've run out of ones I did myself, coffee, rice cooking wine, rice, low sodium soy sauce, rice or apple vinegar, canned soup for lunches on those bad no leftover days.

I never make a list, I just go to the store and grab what I need or want at that time.
.

I buy groceries for the meal plans that I make pretty simple, meats, fish, poultry, veg. (only fresh will do) any condiments I need household goods, of course any dairy I need, don't forget the coupons. wise choice is shop several stores. only buy what is on sale or what you can afford. set a budget, don't go over it

it's a 3X5 index card, folded in half, so I can make 4 lists onnit. It starts with produce and works it's way to meat, then on to the occasional household product, then to the dairy counter, on to wine, and then to deli, if need be, and straight to checkout. That's the way the store is laid out, if one walks in the door and turns left. And yup, I can make 4 lists on one 3X5 card as I go to the market every day.

bananas, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, Squash, green beans, kale, lettuce, cheese, yogurt, coffee, half &half, stuffed peppers, whole chicken, OJ, Milk, Ginger-ale,
1 frozen pizza, Salmon, cereal, and granola

I look at the flyers i got in the mail, make a grocery list, and get all my shopping done that day.:)

i go daily, and i dont make a list, i just pick up whatever we need for that day....

Usually has cat litter on it and things I need to make recipes I've picked out for the week. This week I'm making Gourmet Chicken and Caramelized Onion Risotto and Homemade Macaroni and Cheese with white cheddar.

Mine has the bargains from the 3 markets here so I can get the best buys.

I have a grocery list document on my computer so that I can add to it when I need to. When the grocery sale ads come in the mail on Tuesday, I go through them & add to my list, sorting by store name in columns. I also make a note by an item if I have a coupon so that I don't forget to use it. I print it out once a week & just edit it for the next week.
