If you make homemade salad dressing?!

Question: How do you make it and and what do you do?

Answers: How do you make it and and what do you do?

in a jar, mix 3 parts olive oil with 2 parts vinegar, salt and freshly ground pepper. shake until well blended and use...

There are so many kinds, what kind do you like?? My favorite is:::

Sweet Onion Vinaigrette

? cup sweet onion, minced
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1 teaspoon paprika
1-2 cloves garlic, smashed
? cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons honey
? cup red wine vinegar
1? cup vegetable oil

Add all ingredients, except the vegetable oil, to a blender. Blend on high speed while slowly adding the oil in a steady stream. Scrape down the sides of the blender then continue to blend for 2-3 minutes. Yumm-o!

I've made tons in my years in the biz. Dressings for a restaurant, dressings for home. My home ones are lemon vinaigrette, balsamic, and buttermilk-basil.

It depends on the salad dressing. For a vinegarette, you can whisk together olive oil, balsamic or red wine or white wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.

I made a homemade ranch dressing the other day (it is vegan but I'm sure you can use regular mayo and regular milk if you like)

1 cup vegan mayonnaise
1/4 cup soy milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp fresh chopped parsley
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp fresh chopped dill or 1/4 tsp dried

Enjoy your greens!!

Ranch
Thin out some mayo or miracle whip with milk
garlic - chopped or powder
dry mustard (add a bit and taste)
ground black pepper

Greek

1 part red wine vinegar (oz or 2)
2 parts olive oil
garlic
Oregano or fresh Thyme
salt and pepper

Shake it up in a shaker and pour on salad made of greens, green pepper, red onion, black olives and sprinkle feta cheese on top.

Answer to above.
I can't imagine buying salad dressing -it's expensive and you don't know what you are getting ie how much sodium or sugar.
You know MacDonalds has managed to have their salad have as much fat as a big mac.
Make your salad dressing to suit your taste and as you need it.
Think of all those salad dressing bottles on the fridge door that you go through and throw out.

This is my favorite. I use it for salads, and as a dip for vegetables and hot wings.

Homemade Bleu Cheese Dressing

1 cup (about 4 ounces) crumbled blue (bleu) cheese
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 clove garlic, minced

Beat all ingredients together until fluffy. Chill.

Put other ingredients with vinegar.
I cant imagine why anyone would choose to do this when you can go to the store and buy any kind you want. I hate cooking.
