When you were a little kid what was your favorite breakfast?!
Answers: When I was a little girl, my mom use to make me the best pancakes......they always had crispy edges, and lots of syrup. If we had country sausage, she would make sausage gravy, and put it on her homemade homefries. God I miss my moms cooking. What was your favorite???
I used to love that Frankenberry cereal and the Booberry too!!

POWER BREAKFASTS FOR KIDS
A good breakfast helps make a good day, especially for kids who burn up more energy than just about anybody except professional athletes. Many children hate breakfast, to end hostility consider these suggestions:
1. Spaghetti and meatballs; 2. Homemade soup - any favorite; 3. Cheese sandwich; 4. Noodles with cottage cheese, raisins and cinnamon. 5. Cottage cheese with fresh fruit or unsweetened applesauce; 6. Plain yogurt with fresh fruit; 7. Homemade macaroni and cheese.

Matzah Brei with lots of honey!
My Grandmother had a great pancake/waffle batter recipe. The waffles were NOT Belgium style. I loved waffles with sausage links and eggs, juice, milk and coffee!
I loved waffles, but we always had them (& pancakes) for Sunday supper, not brekfast. It was oatmeal in the morning every day except Christmas. Strange--I still love oatmeal--you would think I'd be sick of it, but it always reminds me ok my grandfather..
