Where can I find spanish rice for paella in the Toronto area?!

Question: Use any good long grain rice ... If you use Jasmine or Basmati rice the paella will have a bit of 'flowery' taste that is AMAZING with all of the other good food in it. It's not 'strong' but you can 'taste it' a bit, and it makes all the difference in the world ... my husband and I are both 'professional foodies' and we love a good paella ...

you don't need 'spanish' rice, i would use a parboil long grain rice available in any store

I am a former chef and in Spain they use a short grain rice similar to Italian Aborio, I get mine at a Mexican grocery in the Kensington Market, or a good Italin Arborio is fine, imported is fine but the domestic, from Primo is fine.

Just toast it with the base before adding the stock and saffron, they have the Mexican saffon in the same Mexican store as I get my rice, I buy Goya.
