What else can I do with these leftovers?!

Question: Last night I made a really delicious shrimp pasta dish, but I made too much sauce so I have enough for one more meal.
The sauce is cream cheese based (with lots of tomato tones). I would be fine making it with the pasta again, but I'd really like to try something different. I was thinking maybe with rice but I don't have any in the house and I'm not the biggest rice fan.

Any other ideas???

Freezing a cream based sauce isn't such a great idea because it separates. Instead why not fix a dish with Mexican flair. Add red chili powder to the sauce and about 1/4 teaspoon crushed cumin then warm some corn tortillas use the shrimp and some fresh chopped onion and cilantro to fill the tortillas and lay rolls in a casserole dish or 9x12 cake pan repeat until there are 2-3 per person and then cover with the sauce and some cheddar cheese pop in the oven and bake for 10 minutes on 350 (until cheese is melted). Serve with a salad and enjoy! Good Luck!

Why not just freeze it and save it for the next time you want that dish? I would place it in a ziploc bag and squeeze all the air out and label it with a piece of tape or with a permanent marker.

How about putting it into a freezer container and saving it for a week or two in the freezer?

It will save you a heap of time some day next week or next month!!

I usually make double batches of sauces such as this and put it into the freezer til I am stressed for time!

I'd grill some chicken, slice it up and put it over some pasta... sorry I can't think of anything more creative. =]

Another pasta dish with maybe chicken breasts or sausage?

if you have dogs give it to them!

Freeze it! In a week or so on a busy day, you'll be glad to have it available..

you can use them veggie salad (green- like lots of lettuce)....

buy a tortilla use it as a dip!

What about using it as a sauce for a Chicken dish?

You could saute a chicken breast and warm the leftover sauce and smother the chicken?

i would bake it into some boneless chicken breast or perhaps, some type of stew.
look up some recipies.

make some chicken breaded with macadamia nuts and then eat the sauce with that and mashed poattoes and steamed veggies..yum!!! or u can dip toated garlic cheese bread into it!
