I am going to fix chicken legs for dinner, I would love some suggestions...?!

Question: ... on different but simple ways to cook them! I am not really sure if I want to bake or fry, I know baking is healthier, but I just want them to be delicious. Help!! Thanks!

You could make fried chicken that's actually baked. Just melt some butter or margarine (butter is preferable, but of course margarine would contain less fat). Brush the melted butter/margarine on your chicken legs---make sure the legs are cold, right out of the fridge.

Then, roll the coated legs in bread crumbs or some other crumb coating (cracker crumbs, crushed corn flakes, whatever you've got). Bake the legs at 350 for about 50 minutes---use a flat baking sheet, and coat the sheet with non-stick cooking spray (or use parchment paper, if you have it). They'll come out with a crispy, "fried" coating.

You could sautee them in a mixture of tomatoes, white wine or white wine vinegar, and fresh basil. I had a recipe like this a while back, but I don't know where the cook book is. However, I do remember it was super tasty. You could also make chicken and rice casserole and bake it in the oven.

add some yellow rice in the pan while it bakes. Or just put some cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup on it while it bakes

add some rice and an exotic sauce

Oooer. Drumstix! Slather those puppies with some Sweet Baby Ray's, put 'em in a covered casserole dish and nuke 'em for 3 - 4 minutes. Then grill 'em med-low. Add some more sauce to the juices in the casserole to baste 'em while they grill. Fix some mac & cheese, the real stuff, not Kraft, and baked beans and call it dinner!

Surprisingly, Shake and Bake BBQ flavor is pretty good on chicken. Nothing as good as grilled bbq, but it is easy and not too bad. I don't use many convenience foods, but S & B BBQ is one.
You could also boil them for just a few minutes and then put in flour and fry in a bit of oil. Mom used to make chicken that way. Doesn't take as long as regualr fried chicken.

there is a recipe on foodnetwork.com called "get yo man chicken" and it is my favorite way to cook chicken. it calls for chicken thighs, but other cuts can be used in substitution...

My siblings love taking some chicken baking it in the oven till they get goldern brown cook some rice on the stove with some cream of musroom soup when the rice and soup are done pour it over the chicken. Done
