Negative calories?!
obviously no foods have negative calories but digesting the nutrients burns more calories than are actually in the food!
this includes celery, carrots, cucumber things like that
anyway what i wanted to know is:
what are your thoughts on this?
and can i actually count on this to work so that i could eat as much of these foods as i wanted and not have to count the calories?
thankyou x
Also while i'm here does anybody know any really low calorie sweet things that i could try because everything i try seems to need egg or flour or something!
Answers: if anyone is intereseted in low calorie things they will know about this new diet thing that has come in that suggests some foods have negative calories.

Yes, you can eat as many of those you want without counting the calories. Actually there is a diet program out there that does points that gives 0 points for these foods. I was talking to one of the waitress at the restaurant I work at about it and she confirmed that the are indeed 0 points.
Sugar has 4 calories per gram. So it becomes difficult. Splenda does not get absorbed by the body as calories. They have altered the chemical make-up of sugar so the tongue still recognises it, but the digestive track does not. Hard candies that use splenda are much better tasting than the sugar free candies from when I was a kid.
I have known for years that you burn more calories than you gain when consuming a cucumber. Couldn't care less though. You can't live off cucumbers.
make fruit smoothys and put them in icecube trays and freez them . I love the frozne fruit bars at trader Joes yum . but if you are looking for somthing chocoletly try hot coco it holds ya over. I know carmel is a fat free thing
I wouldn't count on loosing weight by eating negative calories. Try jello - low cal, kind of bland. Personally don't like it but know of a friend who is on a diet and she eats it to satisfy her sweet tooth. Not going too well though...
