Question: Crusty Garlic Bread

2 cloves garlic,minced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme, or 2 tsp dried thyme.
2 tsp chopped fresh marjoram, or 3/4 tsp dried marjoram.
1/2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
2 small loaves Italian bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine the oil and garlic, mix well. In another small bowl combine parsley, thyme, marjoram and paprika. Cut each loaf lengthwise. Brush inside of loaves with garlic oil, then sprinkle with herb mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Put loaf back together and slice into slices without cutting all the way through. Wrap each loaf in foil, place on baking sheet. Bake until heated through about 10 or 15 minutes. If you want after the bread is done open up foil and bread and broil the inside for about 2 or 3 minutes until top is browned and crusty.

I am so cheap! I use hot dog buns, spread some butter on them, add some parmesan and top with shredded cheese, toss it in the oven, Yum!

This recipe is a pain, but it's so good. Take a razor blade and thinly slice fresh garlic. For a whole loaf I usually use 6 cloves. Mix together with about 1/2 c. olive oil, about 2 tsp. salt and pepper. Let this sit for about 2 hours. Then brush your bread with the olive oil. Remove the garlic slices and space well on the bread. Bake on 450 about 10 minutes. When you are done shread on some fresh grated parm cheese.

Italian bread sliced
toasted it slightly, on both sides ( you can use your ovens broiler, but watch it carefully, or it will burn)
take a raw garlic clove and rub it onto your toasted bread
brush with olive oil
pop in the oven for a few minutes at 350

i agree italian bread all the way .... i take some of the butter and garlic and parsley and what ever els you want to spice it up with and the blend it to a green paste then mix it with the rest of the butter and spread it and bake it!!!mmmm

dude use them yummy buffet rolls.
cut them in half
put proper butter on them, minced garlic and some mixed herbs chuck em in the oven for about 5 minutes but make sure you pre heat it to something decent first.
and then eat them :)

thats what we do anyway :)

Just put garlic powder on the the garlic bread and put some butter on it

My sons favorite: get a nice sturdy crusty loaf of Italian or French bread. Slice it on the diagonal. Melt some butter (at least a stick) and add some garlic salt and garlic powder and a little parsley. Spread it on both sides of the bread and put the bread back together. Wrap tightly in foil. Bake 30-45 minutes at 375 til butter is melted, bread is hot and a little crispy on top.

Use fresh garlic and fresh parsley. mince them up finely. mix them in some room temp butter. spread on your fave bread.

its really yummy when you grill it in on the BBQ, but a toaster or the oven will work just fine.
