Rashers are bacon/ pork belly:
Five-spice salt pork rashers by Chef Walsh
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 kg boneless pork belly
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 1 cup plain flour
Prep:
Remove skin and excess fat from pork belly, cut into eight even rashers.
Combine all dry ingredients to create coating mixture.
Coat rashers heavily in coating mixture and quickly deep-fry to golden brown.
Allow to rest a few moments before serving.
