Anyone know of a stir fry recipe with brown gravy mixed in also?!

HONEY CHICKEN STIR FRY

4 chicken breasts, boned and cut into strips
2 tbsp. oil
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. honey
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
4 carrots, thinly sliced diagonally
1 bunch broccoli, cut into flowerettes
1 can water chestnuts sliced

Stir fry chicken strips in hot oil in large skillet until no longer pink. Combine gravy mix, water, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger and garlic salt. Add to skillet and bring to a boil. Add carrots, broccoli and onion. Cover and simmer until vegetables are crisp tender, about 15 minutes. Add water chestnuts (drained) and heat through. Serve with fluffy white rice.

OR

SAUCY STIR FRY

1 lb. boneless chicken, beef, turkey, pork, or veal
1 tsp. minced gingerroot or 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 c. fresh vegetables (zucchini, mushrooms, celery, broccoli, or snow pea pods) or frozen vegetables
1 (12 oz.) jar Heinz home style gravy, any flavor
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Dash of pepper
Hot cooked rice

In a preheated large skillet, stir fry meat and gingerroot in oil; remove. Stir fry vegetables 2-3 minutes or until tender crisp adding more oil, if necessary. Stir in gravy, soy sauce, and pepper. Return meat to skillet; heat. Serve over rice. Makes about 4 servings.

OR

GREEN CHILI STIR FRY

1 c. green chilies
1 sm. onion
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 lb. meat, preferably rump roast cut into 1/2-inch chunks
Salt and pepper as desired

Fry meat 20-30 minutes. Add 1 package of brown gravy mix; stir until thick. Add green chilies and onion, then add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Add salt and pepper as desired. Let simmer 15-20 minutes. Make up to 4 servings.

OR

CUBE STEAK STIR FRY

1 lb. cube steak
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 sm. pepper
1 sm. onion
1 pkg. gravy mix
1 c. water
Cooked rice

Cut cube steak into 1-inch strips, then brown in oil with vegetables. Add, water and gravy mix. When gravy thickens, serve on rice.

OR

STEAK STIR FRY

1 lb. meat
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1 can French style beans
1/2 c. water

Tenderize meat with tenderizer about 1/2 hour. Cut in strips and add to mixture of gravy mix, soy sauce and water. Coat completely and let stand 1/2 hour.
Fry quickly in peanut or olive oil, stirring constantly, to desired doneness. Add French style beans and 1/2 cup water. Just boil it up and serve with rice.

egg foo young, i think uses a brown gravy to cover the egg/vegetable patty that was lightly fried in oil.
Pretty good stuff

Any meat stir fry can be done with a little brown gravy. for instance, using strips of rump steak and some onion cut lengthwise salt pepper and your gravy do it like this.
Into a largish frying pan or wok that has been allowed to become quite hot add the meat seperatly and slowly so as to brown and not stew then as the meat browns add the onions, as many as you like, salt and pepper, then a little tomato paste and lastly the brown gravy. not to much gravy as it will over power the tastes of the meat. As soon as the flavor starts to come of the pan decant into a dish for serving and thats it. Hope you enjoy Roberto.
