Have you ever heard of frying spaghetti noodles?!
Answers: A friend says he fries them in olive oil after they are cooked and then put the sauce on them. Is that right. I've never heard of it.
YES!! We do it all the time. It, by the way, is the best hangover food a girl could ask for. :>)
What we do is get a nonstick skillet and melt about 3 tbs of butter over medium high heat. Pour in the already cooked pasta and stir well to coat.
Let it sit for at least a minute at a time, in between stirrings.
Cook it for longer than you think...you'll start to notice that parts of the pasta are getting golden. At that point, keep stirring occasionally to brown the majority of the noodles.
Sprinkle with a little salt and you're good to go!
Also, I've found it works better with noodles like rigatoni or ziti rather than spaghetti, linguine or angel hair.
Make it tonight! It's one of my favorites!
Yes, you can make them that way. You can also put peanut butter on them after frying, but wow, lots of calories! My grandmother used to fry noodles and mix them with beaten eggs, a little salt and pepper for seasoning.

Yep I've heard of them but never tired. Check recipezaar.com and maybe you can get some ideas on recipes.
Yes---very yummy. I drain well, put a pile into a pan with olive oil and minced garlic, and toss and fry---add some chilie flakes, salt, pepper, fresh basil leaves, and add parm cheese after plated---use fork to twist into a little nest. Wonderful side dish.
yep its yummy lol
we usually make spagetti and then the next day fry it in olive or veggie oil
:)
Yes, the Chinese do it all the time. They stir fry the spaghetti with soy sauce, onion and beef. It's much better than to boil them and just add pasta sauce.
My son LOVES fried noodles. When I make noodles for something I usually cook extra. Then he will fry them up in a combination of butter and oil, brown them a bit and he just opens the spice cabinet and puts in whatever he feels like. Usually garlic, salt, pepper, steak seasoning, Italian seasoning, etc. The house stinks to high heaven but he is one happy kid.
