What sides to serve with Peking Pork chops?!

Question: I'm trying out a new slowcooker recipie that calls for:

pork chops
brown sugar
ginger
soy sauce
ketchup

And I was wondering what types of sides I could serve? My husband isn't a rice fan, so that's out.

I was thinking maybe green beans and mashed potatoes? Or is that too much?

Cous cous or edamame. You can buy it frozen and it takes all of 3 minutes to boil.

I love edamame, I eat it like potato chips!

How about cous cous and green beans

definetly some kind of vegetable. i agree with the cous cous and green beans

I personally think that cooscoos, mashed potatos. yams/sweet potato, green beens, pastina, lasaghna, chicken pot pie and corn
any kind of comfort food is great to go with pork hope this helps !!!

thin noodles (even better would be glass noodles) with some olive oil, soy sauce, garlic and green onion mixed in ..... Sugar Snap Peas would be wonderful with it ... pineapple cubes .... I'd try to stay with the Oriental theme of the pork, and mashed potatoes & beans are too "American"
