Go to your local market and look in the meat department for meat (chicken beef or fish) that is already marinated and packaged with easy heat and serve directions, Grab a premixed salad and some Grape tomatoes, don't forget the dressing ((Ranch is a pretty safe bet)){tips one and two}(Italian is not a good idea because of the "breath" issue) Pick up some mints to have in a small dish in plain view of your guest. Go then to the bakery and find a pull apart bread and some butter and honey (mix it yourself or buy it premixed) {hint three} serve it in a custard dish rather than the tacky little tub it comes in.
Next to the frozen foods for Asparagus with holandaise sauce...Green Giant easy to microwave {hint four} serve in a covered dish to keep it warm rather than the microwave box it comes in. And then to the desert section...Buy a cheese cake or a small carrot cake...serve on your own dish rather than in it's own package. carrot Cake...buy Redi-whip...cheesecake - buy chocolate or raspberry sauce from the cake decorating section to "draw" a design on the plate prior to placing the cheesecake on top...You should have plenty to go on...best of luck with it...
Make fresh coffee to serve after dinner and be sure to have the bread on the table first with the salad second followed by the meat and asparagus...your choice of wine will be determined by the meat you choose. Presentation is key...offer a wine glass and water glass and do not pour the wine in the glass until your date arrives. Offer her a glass before the meal, but have the water on the table already with a lemon twist. Cloth napkins are preferred to paper and they are easy to fold (you can pick them up anywhere that sells housewares):::Fold corner to corner into a triangle and then bring the outter points to the center point and fold in half...contact me if you need help...

fettuci alfredo or spghetti are a good idea along with some garlic bread or some thing. you could also try to sizzle up a steak for her.

bake on 400 for 45 minutes,
pull out of the oven and put remaining mozzarella on top of the pasta
, cover it back up with aluminum foil, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.....
you have a clean stove, pasta, and a full belly in an hour...

Well not quick but pretty darn easy... You could bake baked potatoes which go in the oven for an hour at 450 degrees. And then turn on the broiler and broil steak on a broiling pan and just keep checking on that until it's cooked how you like usually about 15 min. And serve a salad with it.

Here's a tip- get some pizza dough or bread dough from a bakery or pizza shop and make ur own at home! She will be mighty impressed :) Its not really cheating cause you will be making it. Just chop up the ingredients. Make sure you know what she likes on her pizza. Or even better, make it together : )

Well, i would think some spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread. Or, if you want to be a bit formal then steak, fresh spinach, and some rice with any type of wine.

For dessert maybe some pie, ice cream, a small little cake for the two of you, and/or some strawberries and whipped cream.

peel and clean fresh shrimp.
put them in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, fresh ground pepper and a little salt. stir around until all shrimp are coated well. Let marinate in the fridge for about an hour. Heat up nonstick skillet, pour shrimp and marinate in, and cook for just about 4 minutes. Bake some potatoes to go with them. Quick and easy.

I made this Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Gorgonzola last week and it was surprisingly very easy. I got rave reviews from the crowd. All you do is take 4 boneless chicken breasts and cut a pocket in the middle. Then in a small bowl combine 1/2 cup of Gorgonzola with 2 Tablespoons of dried chives. Once you combined the ingredients stuff the chicken with it. Lightly season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Take 4 slices of bacon, I like to cook the bacon a little to release some of the fat, it also helps to brown better once it's on the chicken. Once that's done wrap the bacon around the chicken in a spiral.

Pop it into the oven for 20-30 minutes until the chicken feels firm when pressed in the center. Drizzle with honey and serve.

I served my Chicken with a mixed green salad and bread. Makes a great presentation.

If you really like to cook then anything you want to make or fix would be fabulous Id say (for she will just appreciate the overwhelming fact here that you've attempted to make something special for you guys together) If your not much for cooking their are a few frozen entrees that are fairly decent you can just put in oven and even doctor up a few with cheeses and spices I think the one I really cared for myself was by Stouffers maybe its a chicken rice entree its honestly decent for no more than 2-3 people just bake that as is and make yourself a nice toss fresh lettuce salad and get some good bakery style bread pick up a quickie dessert and your all set Don't want it to be expensive or too time consuming either as a date you want to have more time together than anything and Im sure she would like the budget fact knowing you'll still be doing alright rest of week for your own self as well

This is a simple chicken recipe and impressive for a date.

Add chicken to sautéed onions.
Cook chicken over medium heat, turning occasionally until white. When chicken is almost done stir in 1/2 c white wine. Turn to med. low cover for 5 mins.
Mix in sour cream. Then add remaining wine and simmer for until sauce is slightly thickened, about 8 minutes.

None of this has to be exact it’s an easy impressive date recipe. Add some wine a couple big spoonfuls of sour cream add some more wine and ur done. Plus it looks fancy, spaghetti is not impressive. When u add the wine just eyeball it so it looks like u know what you r doing. Add a little more wine to ur dates glass. If you like mushrooms add some baby portabella mushrooms once the onions r almost sautéed.

Get a box of pine nut cous cous to make with it. It is so easy boil water add the cous cous and take off the heat. Cous cous is a wonderful change to rice and potatoes.

Green Giant had a great frozen vegetable out that’s called Simply Steam, they r great. Pick out a vegetable toss it in the microwave and ur all set.

Get a bag of salad at the grocery that has dressing included in it and put it in a bowl with a lid toss all of the ingredients with the dressing.

Good luck!

This is very easy and makes a "nice" presentation for your date:

1). Buy some fresh or frozen salmon at the seafood section of the grocery store.

2). Also buy 1 bottle of inexpensive ($5) white wine, 1 small bottle of lemon juice, 1 actual lemon, 1 box of orzo pasta, and 1 large tomato.

3). Dice up the tomato into small pieces (takes a minute). Cut the lemon into 4 wedges (takes a second). Boil the orzo (takes 15 minutes, but we'll go ahead and start the salmon).

4). Cook the salmon on the stove, in a low-to-medium heat setting ... in a little bit of olive oil if you have it, but mostly in the white wine and lemon juice. Add just enough liquid to moisturize the bottom of the whole pan and then some. The fish fillets cook pretty quickly on the burner -- cook both sides, of course -- and you will be able to tell that it's done and parts of each side have browned.

5). Serve the salmon on top of the orzo pasta, which is good also spritzed with some of the lemon juice. Pile the diced, chopped tomato all over the salmon. To be fancy, include the 2 lemon wedges each on both of your plates.

That's it, that's the dinner!

"Salmon cooked in a lemon-wine sauce and served over orzo with fresh tomato."

Spaghetti is the go to for a really quick, easy and delicious meal. Or buy some of those frozen peel and eat shrimp in a bag, and buy some of those frozen garlic butter Tilapia filets . Boil shrimp in some water with garlic salt, seasoning salt and butter(about a tsp of each spice) for about five minutes after the water has come to a boil. Boil a pot of minute rice 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water is usually enough for two. Put the filets in the oven for 15 minutes. Put some rice on the plate, place the filet on top of the rice and put some shrimp on the plate and maybe boil some corn on the cob or whatever veggie you like. It sounds like a lot but it actually only takes about twenty minutes and it looks fancy.
