I'm not sure if him having a Porsche is good enuf reason to want to impress him but this is my favorite recipe--people who don't even like turkey will eat it:

I always make the gravy and am told it's spectacular but you couldn't pay me to eat a giblet.

Making a brine with apple juice is good, too.

Turkey is kinda an odd choice to try and impress. Did he request it?

Before roasting your bird, stick it in the fridge, uncovered for a few hours to make sure his skin gets really dry--that will make him brown beautifully.

Good luck!

I absolutely have the best bring recipe in the world.
I've used it for the past three thanksgivings and everyone raves about it.

His brine recipe is the greatest. :)

One more thing: I just checked for you and apparently he has several brine recipes. I use the one titled "Honey Brined Smoked Turkey" but I don't smoke mine, I simply roast it. I'm sure deep frying it would work equally as well.
Be sure to be careful around that hot oil! :)
