Different routine while staying with relatives?!

Question: While staying with relatives, I have to accomodate them.

For example - food and cooking. We have different habits, tastes, ideas.

It may appear peaceful now, but memories of the past linger. Older folk can have set ways.

What I do in my own spot: Cook from scratch frequently, drink filtered tap water, play music, light candles, laugh more, wear less clothing (OH! Busted!) generally relax and lighten up.

I'm looking forward to the future.

What, if anything do you do ?

Geez, what was the question again? HaHaha!!! I know what you mean, it's such a difficult situation for everybody, the host and the visitors. Forget the past, be polite and forget about your "own ways", for the moment. We all can be set in our ways, no matter what our age is and when we are away from our comfort zone, it seems to volumize the visit. For the food part, I always ask for help when cooking, it puts them at ease, they can add their input and it's so much fun to blame the GROUP when a dish is somewhat unpopular! tehe!!!!!! If you survive the visit, then you have a future................and if all goes well, you can always visit them and do the same!

ok. don't worry. i have some sites for your guidance.
