Which blade for the Magic Bullet?!

Question: For the first time, I used my Magic Bullet for the purpose of blending my salad dressing, but the garlic cloves didn't crush, so I had to put them through the garlic press. I was told it works perfectly for this purpose. I was amazed at how well it emulsifies. I used the crossblade. Should I have used the other blade for this purpose? I've misplaced the book that came with it, and did do a search here, but nothing addressed this specific quesiton.

There interchangable, I have used my sisters/mothers to make mayonaisse, best thing is to do 6-10 with a bit of oil, salt and a dash of vinegar to keep it from oxidizing, I am a former chef and until they start making garlic puree, chopped garlic in oil and when I was leaving the business they were sell peeled whole cloves of garlic, for me I use my blender, and make up mixes o garlic, ginger, hot peppers and Asian spices for stir frys, one of the blade does crush ice better, the larger one is the best for that.
