Ingredeents to sugar?!
At an atomic level the "ingredients" are simply Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen.
If you're talking about everyday "Sugar" that you put in coffee i.e the white granules then I think these are normally made of sucrase, glucose and fructose.
This all said, I'm no chemist and it hurts my brain even to talk about the "basics" of sugar... I'm sure there is someone on here a little better versed to explain.
Answers: Well, it would depend on what you meant by "sugar"... All sugars such as sorbose, mannose, Lactose, Maltose, glucose, ribose, fructose, galactose, xylose to name a few are all monosaccharides, disaccharides, trisaccharides or oligosaccharides. They don't have any "ingredients" as such and they are amongst the simplest carbohydrates.

sugar cane is processed and ground to make sugar. sugar is in sugar.
Do you mean "What's sugar made from?"
If so, it depends on the kind of sugar - at a minimum it can be made from beets or cane.

cane sugar is just sugar from the cane, its a plant...but processed white sugar uses sulfite, and carboxymethylcellulose(big word, translates to horse teeth, yes literally)
