What is your favorite easy to make dessert?!
Answers: My husband needs me to make something for his office party. I'm having trouble deciding on what to make. He wants me to make some kind of dessert. Any suggestions? Would you be able to give me the recipe? Thank you!!
Apple Crisp
3 pounds tart apples
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup rolled oats
4 tablespoons cold butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Peel, core and chop the apples; toss in a bowl with lemon juice. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; add to the apples and toss to combine. In another bowl combine flour, sugar and oats. Cut butter into 8 small pieces, and cut butter into flour with a pastry blender or two forks until mixture is crumbly. Stir in the chopped nuts. Butter a 9-inch square baking dish. Spread apple mixture in bottom of baking dish then sprinkle with flour mixture. Bake at 375° for 30 to 45 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
Serve warm or at room temperature, with vanilla ice cream or a little heavy cream, if desired.
I love making cakes or jello! They are so good, and so easy to make!
The easyiest banana pudding or any type of trifle.
it needs to be finger food so people can easily handle it- homemade cookie sandwiches with butter cream are nice, truffles, brownies with walnut caramel topping, cheesecake slice, lemon tarts, caramel slice is amazing too.

Pistachio Pie!
1 Keebler graham crust
1 pkg. pistachio pudding mix
1 can (15 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 tub of Cool Whip
Slightly drain the pudding mix and put it in a bowl and sprinkle the mix on top and stir. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Then fold in the Cool Whip. Dump it in the crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Literally, as simple as pie!
chocolate chip cookies, the recipe is on the back of the bag. :) You could also make jello and pour it into individual foil cups and top with whipped cream.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
In a medium bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, peanut butter and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan(Put a piece of wax parchment paper in the pan for easy removal). Melt chocolate chips over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring occasionally. Spread melted chocolate over the crumb crust. Chill for about 5 minutes, then cut into bars before the chocolate is completely set, then chill until ready to serve.
I made these the other night and they only took like 5-10 minutes to make. I'm a guy and not a professional chef by any means. They taste just like Reese's peanut butter cups too.

Here's my favorite dessert to make at events like that. I have been assigned to make them every Thanksgiving at my Aunt's lol, they're soooo good!
Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bars
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 t. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 (20 oz.) pkgs. prepared chocolate chip cookie dough, frozen for 1/2 hour before use.
Powdered sugar...Optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and eggs until smooth. Press one pkg. of cookie dough onto the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan. Pour the filling over the dough.
Slice the other dough pkg. into 1/4 inch rounds. Flatten the slices between you hands (spraying hands with pam makes this easy). Place on top of the filling, covering as much as you can (you don't have to cover the entire surface).
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting.
