My mother-in-law has the $9.99 one and uses it 3-4 times a week. She's had it for about two years and loves it.
It looks like mine. I've had mine for YEARS! Maybe 18 yrs. It still works great!
i saw one at wal green for 9 bucks i gavce it as an Xmas gift and they still work great
I have a Black and Decker I bought at Walmart. It's very similar to what I'm seeing in your link. I paid $15.99 for mine.
I like it just fine.
It's certainly not one of the fancy top of the line models. But I've used it at least twice a month for about six years and it's still going. If it died tomorrow, I'd probably get the same one.
I've used mine to make plain white rice, brown rice and spanish rice. And, at Thanksgiving I had so much stuff piled on my stove that I used it to hard cook eggs for deviled eggs.
Looks fine to me.Keep the receipt and if it breaks, take it back.
I just bought a new one. It's an Aroma from Target or Kohls.
It's the larger one.I just steamed broccoli, cauliflower, onions and carrots in it for supper. What flavor.I used some for supper and will make California Medley Soup with the rest.
There is so many different food items you can steam in it,that I'm glad I bought the larger one.I thought I would try chicken breasts in it for chicken salad....
Oh...I also make a veggie pizza with the veggies and it was delicious!
