How can I compile a cookbook?!

Question: I would like to collect recipes from my son's school and make it into a cookbook for a charity auction. Are there online sites that help do this?

KeyIngredient ..... It's a great website that you just download the recipes (up to 50) and the cover photo. You don't need any special software to do it either. I made cookbooks for Christmas for my daughters and granddaughters, and they were bound and shipped within a week! It only cost $11 for one, and I got 8, so they were $8/each. The price goes down with the quantity you order, so you should get a GREAT price and be able to make alot of money. If you need help, the person I talked to (e-mail) was extremely helpful, and will walk you through it.....

I don't have any idea, but I will suggest this. When Billy's grandma sends in a recipe, put Billy's school picture next to it in the cookbook. People will do anything to get their kids picture in the book. Good luck.

ask the other parents in your kids' class. i'm sure they'd get right into it, and if one or more are actually good cooks they might give you more than one apiece. and yes, make sure to get a picture of the kid and/or his family to go w/each recipe. also, people really like recipes that come with a history or family background info. it gives a homey sense to a recipe.
