Hi everyone! Anyone have a Sesame Chicken recipe that is really good?!


Question: Seasame Chicken

8 oz chicken meat
10 oz fat pork
2 cups boiling water
2 tbsp cornflour
3 oz sesame seeds
Parsley to garnish
4 cups oil for deep frying
1 tsp ginger juice
1 tsp wine
1 tsp cornflour
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 egg white
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
Wash and mince the chicken meat into a puree. Immerse in the marinade and set aside for 10 minutes. Blend in the seasoning and pound until springy.
Cook the fat pork in the boiling water for 10 minutes. Refresh and slice into 1 1/2" x 2" (3.75cm x 5cm) thin slices. Dust each piece of the fat pork with a little cornflour then pile the chicken puree on top. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the chicken then garnish with a parsely. Press lightly to secure. Gently bring the oil to a boil. Deep fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and drain. Arrange on a platter to serve with xanthoxylum seed powder and worcestershire sauce.

10 slices old ginger
4 chicken thighs (you can opt for the boney part of the chicken as well)
8 chinese red dates
2 cans beer or ginger ale
2 tbps sesame oil
1 tsp chicken stock granules
Coriender leaves for garnishing

Directions
Heat oil in wok over medium fire. When warm, stri-fry 4 ginger slices for 15 sec. Add chicken & fry till golden brown for 10 mins. Dish up chicken & ginger, Set aside.
Pour beer or ginger ale into a cooking pot. Add remaining ginger slices & red dates. Mix well. Turn fire to high.
Add chicken, ginger slices & sesame oil. Stir & bring to boil. Once boiling, turn fire to low & allow to simmer for 30 mins.
Season with chicken stock garnules. garnish with coriender leaves & serve with white rice.

this is one of my favorite dishes! here's the recipe i use....

1/4 cup Flour
1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
4 Boneless Chicken Breasts, Cut Into Strips
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Sesame Oil
2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds,Toasted
1/4 cup Chives,Chopped
2 tablespoons Oil

Combine the flour and pepper in a zipper bag. Add the chicken and shake to coat. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until no longer pink. Remove from skillet. And the soy sauce substitute and sugar to the pan. Cook and stir until the sugar is melted. Stir in the oil and sesame seeds. Add the chicken and chives and stir to coat.

Sesame Chicken Recipe


Ingredients:
***SESAME SAUCE: ***
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce Yellow food coloring, as desired
***SESAME SEEDS: ***
1/4 cup sesame seeds
***CHICKEN: ***
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 cups thinly sliced chicken
Oil, for deep frying

Directions:

For Sesame Sauce: Combine water, vinegar, salt, sugar, soy sauce and yellow food coloring in a large pot. Cook over medium-high heat for about 20 minutes, until sugar has caramelized. Watch carefully to prevent mixture from boiling over. Set aside.

For Sesame Seeds: Brown sesame seeds in skillet over medium heat until lightly browned and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently. Watch carefully to prevent burning.

For Chicken: Mix flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper in a bowl. Coat chicken with flour mixture and shake off excess. Pour oil into a large pot to a depth of 3 inches. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Deep fry chicken until crisp and brown, about 5 minutes. Be sure chicken is submerged in oil. Remove chicken from oil and drain on paper towels. Place in a large mixing bowl. Pour sesame sauce over chicken and mix well. Add sesame seeds, combine well. Transfer to serving platter.
