Need raisin salad recipe. Can anyone help me?!
3 cups grated carrots, about 3/4 pound, use a little more if you like.
1 8 oz can crushed pineapple in juice, drain lightly, reserve juice
1/4 cup raisins
2 tablespooons mayonnaise
2 tbsp reserved pineapple juice
1 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
Place the carrots, pineapple, and raisins in a medium bowl and toss. Combine remaining ingredients together in a small bowl; pour over carrot mixture and stir well. Chill before serving. Use reduced calorie or non-fat versions of mayonnaise if you want to have a salad that is within calorie and fat dietary restraints. Also, taste your carrots, if they are not tender and sweet, add a little extra sugar. Carrots should be a nice true orange color, slender and fairly uniform in size. Big huge carrots are often times less flavorful and "woody" textured and not a good choice for this salad. At the holidays, I jazz this recipe up by doubling it and adding some shelled pistachios and more raisins (and I always use Hellman's Lite Mayo).

This is the only one I have besides the 'famous' carrot and raisin salad...
6 med apples, peeled cored and diced
1 c chopped pecans
1 c raisins
1/2 c salad dressing
1 tbsp sugar
combine apples raisins pecans. combine sugar and salad dressing. Add and toss to mix thoroughly. Chill.
With salads, I like to wing it. My raisin salad would have apples (green), raisins, purple cabbage (for color and crunch), salad dressing or mayonaise, and pecans (more flavor and texture).
Orange, Pine Nuts, & Raisins Bulgur Salad
1 1/2 cups fine bulgur (available in most supermarkets or in natural food shops)
1 1/2 cups hot water
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
3 medium oranges
1/3 cup olive oil
4 scallions, chopped
1/3 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/3 cup pine nuts, toasted
1/3 cup raisins
Salt and pepper, to taste
In a large bowl combine bulgur, water, lemon juice, and orange juice and rind. Tightly cover with plastic wrap and let mixture stand, at room temperature, until liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Fluff mixture with a fork.
While bulgar is soaking, with a serrated knife, cut away peel and pith from oranges. Cut sections free from membranes and add to bulgur with remaining ingredients. Season salad with salt and pepper, stirring well. Let salad stand, covered, for 30 minutes before serving.

Seaweed raising salad
1 tsp. rice vinegar
2 tsp white wine (any)
3 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. virgin oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 cup raising
1 cup seaweed (precook)
1/2 cup finely chop mango (ripe not green)
1/2 cup finely chop cucumber
salt and pepper to taste
In salad bowl, mango's, cucumbers and raising with white wine and sit aside ...... in different bowl seaweed, cucumber and the vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, virgin oil and salt and pepper to taste, mix well and stir in the rest of the stuff and serve with white rice and any meet............. have fun and bun appetite........................
