Rare roast beef, homemade mashed potatoes with a luscious, thick beef gravy, sweet peas, and homemade buttery bread.....a slow cooker will take care of that roast(5lbs) in about 2 hours....250 degrees.

Your Q is extremely broad. I know there are foods which I LOVE. Those same foods won't ever be touched by others.
What are you in the mood for?
AND Do you have the time to go to the market to get what you want?
AND Do you have the time to make what you decided?
Maybe I asked and typed aloud a few of those Qs you need to first answer yourself.
Here are some dishes I like:
Pasta w/ seafood.
Hot dogs or knackwurst w/ sauerkraut.
Kielbasi
Sweet Italian sausage with peppers & onions.
Meat loaf.
Chicken - in any of over 100 ways.
Pork Cops or B-B-Q Ribs
Eggs - in an amelet OR UP!
Its Friday! Pizza - the way you like it!
Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Yes, that is my real last name!
We're having Pizza
How about stir fry and some barbecue chicken and couscous rice
Kielbasi Bake:
1 C shredded mozzerella cheese
1 large can french fried onions (cheddar ones taste the best, but both work)
8 OZ uncooked pasta (style to your preference, we like elbows, penne and rotinis with it)
1 can cream of celery soup
1 LB kielbasi (or smoked sausage, both are great)
1 C frozen peas
1.5 C milk
Preheat oven to 375. Slice meat into small circular pepperoni like slices (I often make it a little thicker and cut the circle into a half circle), fry in skillet until lightly browned. Cook pasta according to package instructions. In large bowl (I often just mix it in the pan) mix all above ingredients, except reserve half the onions and half the cheese for the top. Bake in 13x9 pan at 375 covered with foil, for 30 minutes. Remove foil, top with remaining cheese and onions and bake until cheese and onions are bubbly and starting to tan.
*Notice this has most of your food groups in one dish.
Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole
2 LB ground beef
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
20 OZ bag of crinkle cut french fries
*alternate recipe (Tater Tot Casserole or Poopy Casserole): replace golden mushroom soup with cream of celery soup, replace cheddar cheese soup with a bag of shredded cheddar cheese, replace crinkle cut french fries with tater tots...both are great, similar, but different taste!
Preheat oven to 350. In skillet brown the ground beef, drain. Stir in soups. Pour into greased 13x9 pan arrange fries (you can bake them first to make them crunchier, I sometimes microwave them, just to thaw them slightly) evenly on top of soup meat mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until the fries are golden brown (for the tater tot recipe, you would now sprinkle cheese on top and bake until melted).
*Both are great served with ketchup on top or on the side, it completes the dish. Great served with garlic bread and salad.
Pizza Casserole
1.5 LB ground beef
1 box spiral pasta
2 small jars of pizza sauce
1 medium jar of spaghetti sauce
2 PKGS shredded mozzerella cheese
1 PKG provolone cheese slices
1 PKG pepperoni
Preheat oven to 350. Brown meat, drain. Cook pasta according to package instructions. In large bowl mix meat, pasta, all sauces and mozzerella cheese. Pour half the mixture into 13x9 baking dish. Arrange half the pepperoni over this. Pour the rest of mixture over pepperoni. Arrange the rest of the pepperoni over this. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove foil and layer provolone over top of casserole, put back in oven until cheese is melted.
*Great served with garlic bread and salad or corn.
Grandma's Casserole
2 cup elbow macaroni (cooked according to package)
1 pound ground beef (browned)
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 medium green pepper (diced)
2 cups colby cheese (cubed)
1 large can of french fried onions.
Preheat oven to 350. Combine macaroni, ground beef, soups and green pepper. Spread half of mixture into greased 13x9 casserole dish, sprinkle with half of cheese, followed by half of french fried onions. Spread remaining mixture, followed by remaining cheese and onions. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
*Great with garlic bread and salad or corn.
Chicken Casserole
2 boxes of chicken Stove Top stuffing mix
4-5 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cooked)
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
2 cups of sour cream.
Preheat oven to 375. Mix Stove Top as directed on box, set aside. Tear the cooked chicken into small pieces. Mix chicken, soup and sour cream until blended. Layer half of stuffing mixture in ungreased 13x9 casserole dish. Top with all of chicken mixture, followed by the remaining stuffing mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes, uncover and bake 10-15 minutes longer.
*Great with biscuits and salad or green beans.
