Olive oil isn't good for popcorn. I use canola oil and it works very well. I have the same popcorn maker you do, and you don't have to use a lot of oil. Enjoy.

olive oil is the healthies of the oils!

Olive oil is too heavy for popcorn. I use light vegetable oil.

When making popcorn it's best to use a veggie oil of some sort, but every oil has different qualities! I wouldnt use olive oil, because olive oil begins to SMOKE at a lower temperature than other oils. Depending how hot your popcorn maker gets, olive oil could smoke and smell up our kitchen. Peanut oil is really flavourful and is my favourite for popcorn, but many people have allergies. Canola oil is possibly the healthiest, besides olive oil, and it doesn't smoke easily.

Enjoy, and I hope this helps!

OIL IS OPTIONAL WHEN MAKING POPCORN!

Corn oil is best for popcorn. It's light and tasteless.

olive vegetable oil is the best it keep u healthy

I don't use oil in my popcorn maker. I didn't know you could/ should. I've just used a lil butter when it came out.
