How to cook potatoes and onions?!

Question: I have a bag of onions and a bag of potatoes that I want to cook together in the oven. I don't have foil. I do have baking pans. Can I just put them all on pans and set the oven for 350 and wait an hour or so? Time? Suggestions? Tips?

I would toss chunks of potatoes and onion with olive oil. Put in your baking pan. Add sea salt, garlic and pepper. Roast at 425 for about 1/2 hr.

Steam them on the stove-top. Add herbs and butter. Mmmm...

you could boil and slice the potatoes and shallow fry them then add the onions for 4 mins add salt an pepper and butter. if you have gravy that would be nice to put on it

Put them in a pan with a lid or another pan on top.
350 1 1/2 hrs

I'd fry them in a pan on the stove with a little oil. Turn them frequently. If you have a microwave, cook the potatoes awhile before hand. That way they won't take to long to soften. Salt and pepper them.

I'd make scalloped potatoes with them, slice potatoes thinly and chop onion, in cooking dish put thin layer potatoes, then sprinkle onion over them, add few dallops butter, salt and pepper, then sprinkle thin layer of flouron top, repeat layers till pan full then fill with milk. cook at 400 for 11/2 hrs. Its great! Also if you have shredded cheddar cheese you can add that to layers too, makes it even better.

I cube them and cook them together in a bit of oil,let the potatos cook for a bit add onions a few minutes after so they'll be translucent and delicious. Goes great with eggs too.
