Question: i used to have a recipe that i made for oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies, be my papa accidentally threw it away :\ . so i need another one that has chocolate chips, and oats ( you now the kind you get in little oatmeal packages) but just plain ones in this recipe. i dont want raisins in it either, their gross.. :/\ , thanks everyone, :] :] :] ???

Original recipe yield: 3 1/2 dozen


INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips


DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 cups butter
24 oz. chocolate chips
4 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 8oz. Hershey Bar (grated)
5 cups blended oatmeal
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)

Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts.

Roll into balls, and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Makes 112 cookies. Recipe may be halved.

Oatmeal Toll-House Cookies

1-1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. hot water
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 pkgs. real chocolate chips
2 cups oatmeal

Preheat oven to 375. In a large mixing bowl add the sugar, eggs and
shortening; blend together. Slowly add the flour, salt and bakign
soda and mix well. Add the wtaer, vanilla and chocolate chips and
mix. Add oatmeal and mix until all ignredients are blended
together. Using a spoon, drop dough onto cookie sheet. Bake for 8-
10 minutes or until cookies appear golden brown. Repeat until all
dough is used.
