Is there a diff. between heavy cream & heavy whipping cream?!

they can be subed for one another. heavy whipping cream has a few chemicals added to make it whip better but nothing that will affect the results in a cheesecake as the fat content is the same. if you want it for whipped cream, heavy cream takes longer to whip but will still work
yes heavy cream takes ages to whip but heavy whipping cream will whip pretty quickly
I think the two can be used in place of one another. If you are cooking a recipe, there should be no difference. If you are using it to maked whipped cream, be sure to use a glass or metal bowl that has been chilled. Chill your beaters too.

No. there is no difference. Heavy cream and whipping cream are the same thing. It will be fine for your cheese cake.
I'm not certain, every time I've gone looking for heavy cream, I've only been able to find heavy whipping cream. used as a non-whipping thing, it seems to work okay in recipies...
