Brownies with Powder sugar!?!


Question: I want to make Brownie squares with a reglar brownie recipe. But i want to put a yummy twist on them. I want to know how to Cover the entire brownie square in powder sugar so it sticks. I have seen them in stores and never knew how they got them that way. thanks!

most of those cookies and bars are tossed on a bowl with powder sugar when they are nearly cooled. Still a bit warm, not cold. roll them around until they are completely covered and put on rack to finish cooling. then place in tray or other serving dish.

Try butter or something sticky

When the brownies cool, you need to sift the powdered sugar on top. It will melt if they are not cool, and the sugar will clump if you dont have a sifter.

You just have to put the sugar on when the brownies are still really hot.

But you will still need to remember to breath out while taking a bite.

My dad loves butter on chocolate brownies. Try smearing a little cold butter on the brownie and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
