Damn oxymorons.
lol, good question, yet there are itty bitty shrimp, then there are the big jumbo ones. love shrinmp, mmm mmmm mmm
The word shrimp came from the animal shrimp because they were small so I geuss you have to have the biggest of the small. I don't know. It's kinda like tight slacks and civil war.
Jumbo means large
Shrimp is a seafood,
therefore a large shrimp is called a Jumbo shrimp.
That is an oxymoron. Tall short people. Bright light. It is the same as saying so many things. Like, a hot water heater. Of course it heats water, but it does not heat hot water.
when they are fish out of the ocean somebody let them grow before eating them..................

Well, if one refers to the slang term of a word, one might sight the impossible.
If one refers to the edible crustacean, then one can classify the creatures according to their size, though typically "jumbo shrimp" are actually prawns - society is often to fickle to really take the time to distinguish the two varieties of decapod crustaceans. This is more typical in America and Canada, where as those in the United Kingdom typically classify shrimp as prawns.
That joke is many years older than you are.
LOL!
