Make one up. You are on a good start.

if you have an onion and a can of peas or corn. you can make shepherds pie and serve it with the gravy

If you have any biscuits in a can or a box mix or can make a batch of homemade biscuit dough then you can make a fairly good potpie out of it. Or cheese and make a Shepards pie.

shepherd's pie

cook ground beef
prepare instant spuds

pre-heat oven 350

put cooked ground beef in a baking pan
cover with corn, green beans or whatever you have in the pantry
layer spuds over the top

bake for 15 minutes then add the gravy and bake for another 10 min.
It makes excellent comfort food!!!

Add some diced carrots, corn kernals and peas and you can make a cottage pie.

Sheppards pie. Mix some of the gravy with the beef and some with the potoes. Puts lots of butter and garlic in the potatoes too.

Bottom layer cooked ground beef, middle layer can of mixed veggies, top with mashed potatoes bake until heated through about 20 mins at 350. Bump up the flavors in everything by frying onion and garlic in with the beef ect.

Make a meatloaf and cook it. Meanwhile, make up the mashed potatoes. When the meatloaf is done, "frost" the sides and top with the mashed potatoes. Put it in the broiler for a minute or so, until the peaks of the potatoes turn golden brown. Serve with the gravy ........ actually, you could even put some of the gravy INTO the meatloaf too

brown the burger
cook instant potatoes....
mix mushroom gravy with burger and put over potatoes...

you could make this creamier by adding milk with flour and a bullion cube and 1/2 a pack of onion soup mix. let it thicken then add the gravy.... look up a hamburger gravy recipe for amounts... i dont measure anything...and when i do... i forget it.

Yeah you can make Sheppard's pie, or at least some bastardized version of it, but with instant mashed potatoes I would rather lick the grout from my kitchen tiles.

I'd throw a steak in it, that would be good

ooo boy my boyfriend would always make.. mashed potatoes on the bottom with beef on top with onions and mushrooms than gravy to top it off.. its sooo good!

Okay, my ex makes potato pancakes with instant potatoes---she whips up the instant potatoes, adds in an egg to make them hold together, forms patties and fries them.

Back when I ate meat, she would make meatloaf with mushroom gravy, too.
