Help!how to cook a shark steak?!
Answers: i bought some because i like the idea of eating it but(what the heck?),i have no idea how to prepare it.and a wine? which kind of wine goes better?
I just stab it with a fork over and over, both sides and marinate in Italian Salad dressing, for at least 20 minutes. Then I broil or grill it. If broiling, I do it on a lower temp like 375. I also like to serve it with baked tomatoes stuffed with goat cheese. Any way I'm sure you can find a recipe that will work for you in an on line search.
Use Teriyaki sauce and you'll be fine. Marinate in Teriyaki for 1 hour, then grill or bake. As for wine...choose one you like. It doesn't really matter red or white, just go with what you like.
GRILLED SHARK STEAKS
Marinade fresh shark steaks in buttermilk and soy sauce for at least 3 hours. Get the grill going and throw the steaks on, cook until flaky. Enjoy with a salad, rice and white wine.

TERIYAKI SHARK STEAKS
2 lbs. shark steaks
1/2 c. teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Marinate shark steaks in mixture of teriyaki sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice for 4 to 5 hours. Remove. Mix other ingredients with marinade. Broil steaks about 4" from hot coals for 5 to 8 minutes, basting often. Turn fish and broil 5 minutes more until fish flakes.

easy buy it or ( this would be impossible for you as you might get told off) get a shark kill it and cook it enjoy also red wine is good with foodput some cabbge or carrcots maybe bon jour sorry just to say enjoy!!!
Just put it on the broiler pan, add a pat of butter, some pepper (doesn't need salt being a salt water fishie)----turn over aft about 4-5 mins...depending how you like it done, you will see the colours turning to doneness before you turn it over. White wine like either a Chablis or Chardonnay goes perfect with it. Bon Appetite!
