Chicken and dumpling made with Jiffy biscuit mix I have 2 thighs,1 leg, broth, ect Can anyone HELP put together.!

Question: First off, calm down...chicken and dumplings is one of the easiest comfort foods to make that there is.

Okay, first, cook your chicken. Method is up to you, just as long as the chicken is done. Then, simply pull all of the meat off the bones and lay the meat aside--toss the bones and gunky stuff.

Put your broth and chicken into a large pot and let it simmer. You can add whatever veggie you might want at this time, like celery, carrots and onions...you know what you want it to taste like. Not too much broth, just enough to cover the meat by an inch or so.

After your veggie additives are cooked to tender, mix up your dumplings according to the package directions. Have your broth boiling and drop the dumplings by spoonfuls into the broth. Cover, reduce heat to medium and let them steam, undisturbed, for 15 to 20 minutes.

The broth will thicken by the addition of the dumplings.

You go, girl...nothing like chicken and dumplings!

Cook your chicken first in a pan with a little water so you have broth. It would be good to add some chopped celery and carrot too, if you have any. Season with salt and pepper, and maybe some poultry seasoning. Make the fluffy dumplings with the bisquick and add some parley the batter. Drop the dumplings in the broth after the chicken is done, cover and cook about 20 min. Good meal.

Boil your chicken. Pull meat off bones add to broth with onions, celery, and carrots, seasonings (parsley, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning or sage, garlic, onion powder)
When broth is boiling drop you dumpling dough in by spoonfuls and cover pan.

Yummmmmmmmmm! One of my favorites!

Here is a recipe:

http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1639,1541...

Boil your chicken cool and debone it.
Add a can of cream of chicken soup to broth
Add a can of mixed vegetables
bring to a boil reduce heat and bring to a slow rolling boil
Mix dumplings according to package directions
Add to broth mixture a heaping tablespoon at a time and let simmer. If you have a lot of dumplings you may want add dumplings to fill the top of broth and cover and simmer for about 10 minutes then add the rest and do the same with them.
Just a tip: dip spoon into a cool cup of water between dumplings this will keep them from sticking to spoon and they will fall off spoon easier into broth.
