Question: I don't like avocado but I'm determined to include it in my diet. Can you suggest some tasty accompaniment for it, or a recipe?

I like to put it in a sandwich .

slice & put on a salade or bed of greens, absolutely delish or eat plain...or, make guacamole! awesome!

Its good with almost anything that you would but in a salad or an omlete.

this salad will add a more appealing taste to an avocado :)
Avocado and Papaya Salad
2 avocados, peeled, halved, and pitted
2 papayas, peeled, halved, and seeded
1 lime, zested and juiced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Slice the avocados lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick slices. Slice the papayas widthwise into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange overlapping slices on a serving platter, alternating slices of avocado and papaya.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Spoon the dressing over the avocado and papaya. Serve immediately.

If you don't like it, you aren't going to be able to disguise the taste in anything. You can't cook it ... you eat avocados fresh... usually just sliced, or in guacamole ......

Slip a few slivers into a wholemeal pitta bread packed with lots of salad and season well with salt and black pepper. You won't even know you're eating it.

omg i love avocado i know this may sound gross but you know whats really good.

okay a cracker mustard and avocado i promise its really good.

I think you can get used to just about anything on a hamburger. I never used to like tomatoes but didn't want to be picky and always ask for no tomatoes. So, I starting eating hamburgers with them and eventually got used to the taste. They are not my favorite, but I can manage now.

Avocadoes are great in salads. Chop them up and throw them in almost anything. Have a burrito, or tacos or even on top of rice. Enchiladas...most mexican food goes with avocado. I like them plain with salt. It gives them just a little bit more flavor. Yum!

avocado with lemon juice and yogurt is a good thang to put on roast beef tacos.

not that its "HEALTHY" BUT it goes really good with BACON added to salads also i like it in salsa

What is not to like. Yummmmmmmm! I like simple, so I slice them, pour salsa over them and eat with tortilla chips. My Mom is a 93 year old invalid and we mash avocados and put in her oatmeal. She likes it. If you cut in tiny pieces and put in your green salad , you won't even know they are there. I saw a recipe recently in a diet book using avocados as a base for a dessert. They added honey and spices to make a cold dessert.

Make yourself some tacos with chicken breast, and add some diced avacado as a topping.

It also tastes good on top of green chili.

Put it on top of a SouthWest burger or turkey burger, along with some sliced jalapenos and red onion.

what i do is cut an avocado in half, then make tuna salade with low fat mayo and put some salade in each half of the avocado. Accompanied by a lemon, some crackers, and a glass of tomatoe juice!

Ilike avocado on BLT...better known as a "BLAT". Avocado and shrimp with a good remolade sauce is terrific. But then I love avocado.

Guacamole is easy and you can add a lot of other ingredients to hide the avocado flavor. I just mash it up with lime juice, cilantro, salt, pepper, and either fresh minced or powdered garlic. Sometimes a bit of salsa or chopped fresh tomatoes too.

You could add onions, tomato, garlic, to it....but the taste will still be there.

Something simple: go to the goya section in the grocery store and buy adobo. Sprinkle some on a slice of avocado and it will taste real good. MMMMM
