WHO ALL EATS SUSHI what kind do you eat AND HOWS IT TASTE?!
Answers: WHATZ THE NAMES OF IT AND WHATZ IT TASTE LIKE PLEASE EXPLAIN I WOULD LIKE TO TRY IT????
WELL
its good i like the rice and fish its good just try it ask the folks when you get there about it they will explain everything
It tastes like plain white rice with plain unflavored fish because that's what it is. You can dip it soy sauce, then it will take like rice and soy sauce.
Unagi! It's eel. It's cooked, and usually marinated in a sweet sauce. My favorite!
I also enjoy Spicy tuna.
Sushi is very fishy, obviously. If you dislike the texture of it, and a lot of people do, it will be very hard to eat.
I don't like cooked fish at all, but love sushi:) (it doesn't taste or smell "fishy") ... most people start with tuna, when they first eat sushi. It's very mild. You mix some soy sauce with wasabi (HOT green paste) to dip it in. My favorite is octopus sashimi, though. Sashimi is raw fish without the rice (sushi is a piece of raw fish on top of molded rice) ...
im not a big fan of it but my dad is and i tried it 1nce w/the ssauce and its really hot
dont burn your tounge
i like cali rolls: crab (cooked), avocado, and cucumber. i also live versions with smoked salmon and cream cheese. i like sushi where i can recognize what animal it came from.
the only thing i can say it tastes like is sushi... not helpful. i suggest you go to a high quality sushi buffet, so you can try a few things and note what you do/do not like. do not go too cheep, or it will not be a good experience.
oh, and the green glob (wasabi) is dissolved into the soy sauce to make a dipping sauce.
california roll
I eat sushi but it is made with sweet chicken and rice wrap with a piece of celery.
california rolls are a good one to try first. there are also veggie rolls that are plain or tempura fried: avocado, cucumber, asparagus, etc. I like to stick to the crab, salmon, and veggie rolls. it's difficult to give exact names of rolls b/c each sushi place will name them a bit differently. like where i live, there is a Livingston Roll, named after our county, that has cream cheese, cucumber, crab, and avocado.
simple sushi rolls have the seaweed on the outside, then rice, then veggies. others have the rice on the outside of the seaweed and sometimes they are rolled in seeds, fish eggs, etc. then there are those that are just rice with a slice of raw fish on the top.
if you get good quality sushi, it should never taste overly fishy. it's fresh, flavorful, healthy, and addicting! :-) start off simply (most restaurants give a description of what is in each roll) and have fun!
