How do I desalt some mixed nuts I got for Xmas.?!


Question: This canister of mixed nuts has way too much salt in it. how can i desalinate the nuts. Can i rinse them with water, and roast them in the oven? or is there an easier way?

You can rinse them or if you like a bit of salt, pour some out on a paper towel and roll them around in it. That should remove enough to make them less salty.

Do that...it is the only way I can think of. Good luck.

Roll them around in a damp towel

drop them in some water and swish them around a couple of times and pour them through a strainer to drain. dry and enjoy

That's the way I'd do it, just dump them in a big pasta strainer, rinse and roasted them slowly at a low temp. until they're dry.

Take Sugar and make powder in Mixer and sprinkled on Nuts. Now it is sweety/Salty Nuts is ready.

To reduce Salt in Receipes.

1.SUGAR is for Dry Items. For Fry item also.
2.Tomato Pulp for Curry/Dishes
3.Lemon Extract for Rice/Briyani/Pulav.
4.Crumbled Rusk is for Pizza/Burger.
