My daughters love to make quesadillas in the microwave. Just layer a tortilla, then some cheese, maybe some olives or chicken pieces, then another tortilla. Microwave it for 30 seconds at a time until the cheese melts. Use sour cream or salsa for dipping.

salads, cereals, or luncheables

Sandwhich, cereal, salad, instant mac & cheese (In microwave) soup (In microwave)

ants on a log (cellery, peanutbutter, rasins)
salad dressings/salad
drop cookies are always easy as long as you have an adult to help with the oven
oh and no bakes! quite delicious!
hmmm what else?.... look in the cookbooks for kids they usually have some pretty easy recipies.

I think it is wonderful that you want to learn. My daughter was able to cook safe menus at 11 years of age too.

Let's start with the crock pot. Have your parent go to the grocery store or a place such as WalMart and buy you a crock pot. They are not expensive. Read the booklet - this is very important.

What is a crock pot/slow cooker:
(This information was found at: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-crock-... )
"The crock pot is designed to cook unattended so that you can add ingredients to the pot in the morning before work, then come home 8-10 hours later, to a perfectly cooked meal.
A crock pot never needs preheating and meals cooked in a crock pot retain their juices and flavors because of the design and slow-cooking method. You can even add frozen meats to a crock pot. Just add 1 cup (235ml) of warm liquid to the pot first and calculate in an extra 4-6 hours if cooking on low, or an extra 2 hours cooking on high."

If you are in a rush, have a parent stop at the store and pick up:
Smithfield, or Hormel, or Armour packages of PRE-COOKED beef tips, roast, pot roast, pork roast, chicken, ham, meatload. Use this for your meat dish with a side dish or two of vegetables, rice, or potatoes. You will find these packages near the meat section, they are not frozen, buy you can freeze left overs. Microwave and serve with a vegetable. Or ask a clerk to help you find them.

Tyson's fully cooked whole chickens are delicious. They are found in the meat section, they are not frozen but you can freeze left overs. Just microwave and serve with a vegetable.
