********QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN ALFREDO
2 chicken breast sliced
2 jars Alfredo sauce
2 c. mushrooms
1 lb. fettuccine or any pasta
2 tsp. butter
Sauté chicken and mushrooms in butter until lightly brown. Pour in Alfredo sauce over chicken and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Pour mixture over cooked fettuccine or pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

*********CHICKEN CACCIATORE
3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 sm. can sliced olives
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 each celery stock, sliced
1 c. mushrooms, slices
1 c. carrots (optional) or any vegetable desired
1 pkg. macaroni (shells, elbow, etc.)
Cut chicken in bite size pieces. In crock pot, combine chicken, spaghetti sauce, olives, onion, celery, mushrooms and carrots. Cook on low 6 to 7 hours or high 3 to 4 hours. Cook macaroni. Place macaroni in bowl, spoon Chicken Cacciatore over.

Great with french bread and a salad.

********BANANA AND STRAWBERRY PUDDING
1 box of Jello French Vanilla Instant pudding
1 box of Jello Banana Cream Instant pudding
milk
1 large container of Whipped cream
3-4 ripe bananas
1 small carton of strawberries
1 bag of the cheapest vanilla wafers (they stay crunchy longer)
The amount of layers depends on the dish it is prepared in. I use an 11x9 in. glass casserole dish.
In a bowl combine both boxes of pudding mix and prepare according to the package directions omitting 1 cup of milk.
Fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture. Now make a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of your casserole dish (none of the wafers should be on top of one another), then slice bananas over the wafers until you get an even cover but you should still be able to see the first layer.
Now slice strawberries over the bananas. The next layer will be the pudding. Start over with the vanilla wafers, continue layer up to the pudding.
After you've applied a layer of pudding, line the sides of the pan with wafers. Take the rest of the whipped cream and spread it on top.
Crush the remaining wafers and crumbs, and then sprinkle them on top of whipped cream.
Optional: Garnish top with strawberries

If my girlfriend was willing to cook me dinner, I would be happy with whatever she made me.

try making steak or chicken fajitas!! Men love them.

Here's another..

first of all.. know his favourite foods. and get him involved in the decision making.
u dnt have to tell him exactly what u are going to make so u can keep a lil bit of suprise there.... but u dnt want to be adding a whole lot of things he doesnt like.. or simple isnt in the 'mood for'

i have a whole bunch or recipes at home (im at work) so i can share some with u if u decide on anything in particular.

first you need to give us some ideas of foods that he likes, and then we can really help you plan out meals, and give recipes if you need them...Otherwise we can just give you a mile long list that does nothing to help you.....I will check back later to see if you add details.

Probably anything. Make something you're comfortable with though. You don't want to experiment too much on the poor boy. Simple things like spaghetti, tacos, fajitas, meatloaf, anything BBQ's is probably fine. Ask him what he likes.

steak, lasagna, chicken wings, ribs, pasta, chilli, big BLT!

Stir Fry vegetables with chicken in wok.Spagetti .Boil spagetti with salt in water add prepared bottled sauce [the one with the thick meat flavour].Omelete ,Eggs, cheese, carrots, bacon actually anthing you like .I have sent easy recipes as you said supper and assume you want quick easy meals.

(This soup is very easy to make.)

"Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup"

Here is one version - -

1 can Campbells Chicken Noodle-O Soup
(and 1 can of water)

1 can chicken broth
(and another can of water, if the chicken broth is condensed)

1 can of chicken. (You can buy it in the canned meat section of the grocery store. It is usually next to the tuna. This is what really makes this recipe "hearty" ! ! )

any leftovers that you have - - spaghetti noodles (already cooked) or that rice that is left over from Chinese take-out from yesterday!

optional - - 1 - 2 carrots (washed and cut up, of course. Or, cut up some of those "baby carrots". Easy and quick.)
optional - - celery

Mix soup and water.

(If you will be using carrots / celery add them now. Bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes.)

Add chicken and rice or noodles. Bring to a boil.

Eat.

(This recipe takes more time. Is not too difficult to make. And is very good.)

Italian Spaghetti Sauce

1/2 c onion, sliced
2 T olive oil
1 lb ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs canned tomatos
16 oz tomato sauce
4 ounce can of mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped parsley (or 4 t parsley flakes)
1 1/2 t oregano
1 t salt
1/2 t msg (optional)
1/4 t thyme
1 bay leaf
1 cup water

Cook onion in hot oil until golden. Add meat and garlic. Brown. Drain if needed.

Combine all ingredients in a large cooking pot. Simmer 2 - 2 1/2 hours, uncovered. (or until thick)

Remove bay leaf. Serve on hot, cooked spaghetti. Pass bowl of grated parmesan cheese.

Makes 6 servings.

P.S. This sauce really tastes better on the 2nd day (after it has "aged" in the refrigerator). So it is best to make it ahead of time. (And it can even be frozen.). Very yummy.

Some really simple (yet always crowd-pleasing) options would be pasta w/ meat sauce & garlic bread, pot roast & potatoes, roasted chicken & veg, pork chops & sauteed apples, etc. An awesome salad to make (now the Hubs' fave) has mixed greens, pecans halves, sliced bosc pears, crumbled bleu cheese, all tossed up with a champagne vinagrette (I can't remember the brand, but it comes in a triangular-looking bottle).

Regardless what you end up cooking, make it with love and your b/f will totally eat it up, both literally and figuratively ;)

Chili with beef stew meat.

Pork Chops browned, then smothered in mushroom soup and a can full of water, chop some onions in it, add some black pepper and finish in the oven 325 F for I hour. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Stir Fry of any kind.

BBQ steaks.

A chocolate mousse for dessert is a way to your guy's heart too :)

Your the guest so he should be cooking for you I think..
