Sauces for beef rib roast and yorkshire pudding?!

Question: Hello. I am after a quick simple sauce that will go good with beef rib roast and yorkshire pudding. I have seen some recipes with horsradish but i dont have any. But if someone could please recommend one? Even if its just steak diane or gravy.. Just something that will make this go together soo nicely.

Use the Beef jus and some red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot and thicken with roux. You can add some mustard too. Yummy! Enjoy! {:-)

I would say gravy. Make sure you don't use all the drippings in the yorkshire pudding though.

You make roux with the drippings in the pan the roast was cooked in then add hot water(preferably from the cooking vegitables) and simmer. If you have not made it before get a package of gravy mix as back up.

The "traveling gourmet" is right but i might add to get the best au jus please think about adding things like parsnips (and/or carrots) some small or quartered onions, celery, garlic (no need to peel) to the pan while roasting...when ready to make your sauce remove these items add puree til smooth add backto the pan and then add your wine, reduce, season and you'll have a rich and nuanced sauce...The only caveat is don't put more than one carrot in the sauce - they take over. Serve the extras on the side...
