All you need to do is sprinkle some salt in the frying pan so the hamburgers don't stick and heat the skillet. Put the burgers in the frying pan, and once they start cooking, turn down to medium. Sprinkle them with onion powder. Cover the skillet. After about 3-4 minutes, flip them and sprinkle with more powder, then recover. Once they start juicing on top about 3-4 min later, remove the lid and flip and leave uncovered. If you want cheese on them, put the cheese on, turn off the heat, and recover. In a minute, the cheese will be melted. Voila! They're ready!

mince, chopped onion, salt and pepper, all-purpose seasoning and one egg yolk
oil the frypan and cook on medium to high heat

Sorry...but you should stick to Mcdonalds..........

Buy ground chuck or sirloin ... it's easier than grinding your own.
Put the meat in a bowl with some seasonings/binders of your choice.
By seasonings I mean anything from simple salt and pepper to cayenne, ketchup, bbq sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, etc. Add your faves.
By binders I mean something to hold the burger together while it cooks. You can add a bit of breadcrumbs, an egg beaten, some cooked rice... whatever you prefer. I'd say using the egg is easiest b/c it'll bind it without drying it out like the crumbs will. And it's easier for me to use an egg as opposed to cooking up a pot of rice first.
Then combine the meat mix with the binder GENTLY with your hands. Don't squeeze the meat together... just make sure it's all combined.
Shape patties and cook however you'd like... on the grill, on a frying pan, on a Foreman grill (indoor grill). This time of year I'd just pan cook them. You don't need oil b/c the meat has fat in it which it will release while cooking, so the burgers won't stick.
Heat the pan over medium (you don't want it too high or you'll burn the outsides before the inside has time to cook). When the pan is fully heated, add your burgers and cook until browned, flip over and repeat.
Some people claim to eat their burgers rare... I don't recommend this. It's okay to do with steak since the bacteria that can make you sick is only on the outside of the meat... and heating it essentially kills the bacteria that could be harmful. With ground meat the bacteria gets distributed all through during the grinding process so leaving the insides on the raw side still could be harmful.

Enjoy!!!

Just shape the meat into pattties, thinner and bigger around than you want the finished product. Put a few drops of worcestershire on top, and salt and pepper both sides.

Heat a skillet to medium heat. When hot, spray w/ nonstick spray. Slap burgers into skillet and leave them alone. When you are able to move them, flip them. They will release themselves. Repeat on raw side, then serve.
