Ribs recipes?!
Answers: I have never prepared them before, but I would like to try... any tips??
Pork or beef? either way. They have great marinades from 'Grill Mates' you might want to try. I use mesquite.
The slower your cooking process the more tender they will be, Try a crockpot or slowcooker.
Sometimes I just take a zipperbag and put my favorite seasonings in, mix it up and rub this on your ribs before cooking.
ALSO:
I personally own an electric smoker, you can buy these for about $70 at any hardware store. takes about 5 or 6 hours.
but deffinetly worth it in flavor!
The way I make ribs is I boil them for a while to get tender, then I put in 9 x 13 inch pan and cover with barbeque sauce and bake for about 1/2 hour. The ribs are so tender they fall off the bone.
I agree with Carmella, but I don't let them boil, just simmer in water with spices and a couple tablespoons of vinegar for ultimate tenderness!
If you like the sauce a little more carmelized put them under the broiler for a few minutes after or in place of baking.
YUM!
When doing ribs I normally wash them and then marinade them in beer and Tony Chashers (cajun seasoning)for a day then I smoke them on the grill. after they are on the grill for awhile I add the sauce
