I have a pound of Ground Beef....?!

Question: What a can I make with it? I don't want to make chili, mac&beef, lasagna, tacos, meatloaf. I know I'm picky but I don't like ground beef very much. I have some extra and want to use it up tonight. Help?

sloppy joes or nachos

burgers?

Well you can cut the beef into dice and put it with sliced bell peppers. Its my fav food.

Yes, sloppy Joe's indeed! Looooove theeeeeem!

Nachos

Nachos!!!! Or put it in a very creative salad. I create my own food, lol.

WELL IF YOU DONT LIKE GROUND BEEF WHY DID YOU BUY IT THEN !!!!!

make spicey meat balls and spagetti-or just a regular burger make chip dip

bacon cheeseburgers!!! mmmmmm

What about swedish meatballs?
Make meatballs, adding worcestire sauce to them
you can bake or fry the meatballs - in a skillet if you fried the meatballs, use the same one getting all the good drippings up from the bottom add two cans cr of mushroom soup, some water (not milk) and some garlic powder, and more worcestire sauce. Let this come up to a boil, add the meatballs back in and you can add some chopped onion, some mushrooms if you want.
Make noodles or mashed taters also and serve the meatballs over noodles or mashed taters. My family likes the taters personally.

my mom used to add onions to the ground beef...cook in a saucepan (season with salt and pepper) and we would eat it with mashed potatoes! i make it every once in awhile!

nachos would be the best idea,...if have the stuff to do it!

mix the ground beef with worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt and pepper, and garlic powder. Roll into meatballs or patties. Brown on all sides (really really brown). Add some red cooking wine and a can of mushroom soup to the pan and deglaze. Let simmer for <10 minutes...serve with pasta. Pretty tasty..........

sorry--just noticed someone put something similar up--didn't mean to cheat!

Fry it up with onions and garlic and then add a tomatoe sauce! MEAT SAUCE!!!! And make pasta! Or you can make meatballs and then add to your sauce!

cook the ground beef with onions and celery. Drain off fat. Add some cooked rice, chopped water chestnuts, a can of cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce and milk or sour cream to moisten. Put in baking dish. Top with chow mein noodles and bake until hot.

sloppy joes-most definately-i had some last night for dinner.

tater tot casserole, as it is EASY
1 pound browned hamburger
1 large can cream of mushroom soup
1 bag frozen green beans
1 bag frozen tater tots
1 bag shredded cheese

Layer everything in order except the cheese. Bake in 375F preheated oven for 20-30 minutes until tots are done. Sprinkle cheese and bake another couple of minutes until cheese is melted. Serve with green salad.

Or you could put it into a calzone with sauteed onions, green peppers and jack cheese for a philly cheese calzone.

You could do enchiladas, beef stew, beef barley soup, or stuffed green peppers with hamburger and mexican rice inside, and cheese on top. Broccoli beef would be a great option if you like asian food. Or pepper beef [made with a pepper steak recipe-I have one]. If you like soups with an asian flair, I have two awesome recipes. One uses ginger, mushrooms and soba noodles and with only 8 oz. of beef, it is light, but flavorful. The other is a little spicy, with chilies, lime, and soba noodles. I would be glad to pass them on if you want them.

Hmmmm,,,makes my hungry just thinking about it..
May I suggest stuffed peppers. I like to use the red peppers because they sweeten up when baked. Or maybe, lasagna with layers of ground beef and cheeses, or just spaghetti meat sauce like another poster suggested. Stuffed mushroom caps with a mixture of ground beef, olives and feta cheese,,,yum.
Too bad I'm at work,,,I'd be in the kitchen right now cooking up something,,,I'm hungry now...GL

Cheesy Joes

Brown & drain hamburger--add chopped onion & cook soft--add a can of cheddar cheese soup & heat--serve on toasted buns--add chips & tossed salad

burqers?!?..

I take a pound of hamburg and put it in a pot.Fry it till it is nice and done
Then add 1 large onion chopped up and fry until tender
Then add some pepper, and 2 beef bouillon cubes.
Add 6 cups of water
And 2 to 3 cups of diced potatoes. Keep covered
Cook slow until the potatoes are done.
Place on plate and add some butter and have a slice of bread with it.
Makes about 3 to 4 servings

Just toss it and go buy what yo want and what you will eat.

Substitution
Use Green Giant? Mexicorn? whole kernel corn with red and green peppers instead of plain corn to add even more of a Southwest twist to this skillet bake.

Substitution
Don’t have Cheddar cheese? Use the same amount of another cheese you have on hand.
