What is the best way to sesion a steak?!

Question: When we have steak, the way I SEASON it is to add salt, pepper and butter then throw on the grill and cook medium rare. Splash a little Worcestershire sauce on it and serve simple but tasty. The other ideas are great too. I like the Italian dressing one. That works great for chicken also.

If it's a good steak, salt and pepper only. Others, marinate for 24 hrs. in Italian dressing.

Dale's.
A little goes a long way.
It's like black salt juice but very good for a marinade.

A little salt before cooking under the grill.

My favorite is soy sauce - it acts like salt, and the dark carameliness of it goes well with steak.

Rub your steak with olive oil (dont add it to the pan) then season with a little fresh fresh cracked black pepper and a dash of sea salt.
Let your steak sit out of the fridge and cook only once its reached room temperature. Once your steak is done to your liking, let it stand for a few minutes.
Having at room temp will help keep it tender, because the muscle fibre wont got from cold and tight and have to relax (just like our muscles...we warm up before we run) and letting it sit for a few minutes before eating will also allow the muscle fibres to relax, ensuring you have a delicious tender steak!

I use Calmus season and I love it! If you really want a good tender steak. The night before you want to cook it pick up some marinating sauce and soak the steak in it. The next day cook it that night and it's delicious.

How are you cooking the steak, grilling or pan-frying?

Sometimes it nice to keep it simple.
Salt, Pepper and Maybe (with a capital M) a little garlic powder.
