Answers: you turn the knob that says preheat

HAHHAHAHAHA

You heat it to the temp you need to bake in before you put the product in the oven.

you turn it on ........ a few minutes before you put in, the item you are baking

Oven Settings > Start Cooking
In addition to preheat, there is bake, broil, self-clean (if you are lucky! ... My oven insists the door be closed for the broil to work. ...

Turn the knob that tells you what cooking method you prefer: either broil, bake, convection or steam........then set your desired temperature for your cooking process, when you hear a beeping sound (from your oven) then your desired cooking method is ready and awaiting your next creation. Set the timer and you're off. If you don't have an automatic temperature gauge built in your oven, then you will have to put in your own gauge and judge for yourself of when the temperature is just right. I have cooked in several people's home and I have found that 15 minutes, (no matter what temperature or baking method is selected) is plenty enough time for that oven to be heated thoroughly. Good Luck and Happy Cooking to you!

press the bake button, put the right temperature on and then press the start button

if you don't know how to turn on your oven, I suggest you eat out
