How is it that when you know better, you put something like frozen calfs liver in the fridge to thaw, that?!
Answers: You do not put a dish under to catch blood drippings, the blood will always find a way out of the hermetically sealed package, ozzing all over 2-3 fridge shelves? Then when you do think to put a dish underneath, it won't leak a drop. You need sharp and blunt instruments to open plastic wrapped packages, like hacksaw, and ball-pean hammer, used a box-cutter one time and needed three stitches to close the hand wound.
Come-on people, this is one of Murphy's best, JennyP&Happy cooker sound like Marthar Steward,a lot of fridge's have spill proof shelves, and you can take all them hints from Heloise, and preventitives, but still spill the blood & beans, yeah! we are insane, otherwise we would find better things to do, than answer idiots. O just love you people that just are so 'Perfect'
I know what you mean! It is like it knows nothing is under it and so it is going to leak!
As far as opening things like these types of packages, I just use my nails.
lol-ain't that the truth. We all do things like this all the time (well, maybe not all the time). You could line your fridge shelves with foil or wax paper to prevent further messes.
Oh gosh, I hate that when it happens!!!!! :(
Sounds like a bad hair day to me! I suspect that the real answer lies in why this behavior repeats itself over and over again without a shift. Isn't that the definition of "insanity"? To repeat the same action over and over and over again expecting a different outcome? How about placing your calves liver etc. in a plastic bag just to be on the safe side? :)
