Is it possible to make pasta in a microwave?!
In any case, I figured it'd be healthier than eating ramen noodles all day......
Answers: I have a microwave safe container and was wondering if you thought this was even possible and how? I'm stuck at work most of the day, and a microwave is all we have.

Yes, I do it all of the time. You can even make gravy from scratch in a microwave oven.
Just put your noodles in a microwave safe container, then fill with water until they are just immersed. Place a lid over the top but have it offset so that steam can come out of it. Set the power to about 70% and cook maybe for 5 minutes. Check and see if they are done. If not, then cook them a little longer. You also might want to stop and stir them once during cooking.
Also, make certain the container you use is at least twice as big as the amount of noodles you are going to cook.
Absolutely it is possible. If your starting from dry pasta obviously you would use the microwave to boil the water and then cook the pasta. Not the most economically use of a microwave but it still works. If the pasta is already partially or completely cook it's even easier. So if you have a refrigerator to store lunch it try precooking the pasta, refrigerate it, and they reheat it in the microwave.
I have experimented with this many times (I worked on pasta for the largest manufacturer in the US)

microwave does not produce the healthiest food? The health of food has nothing to do with a microwave oven.
if you want something healthy, take the time to make in the stove or oven from scratch at home the day before...then at work (since you only have microwaves there) you can heat it up...microwave does not produce the "healthiest" foods, ya know...
Yes, you can. I do this when I just need a small amount for a casserole or two small servings. I do not like the microwave for egg noodles. I've not found a way to keep them from getting a bit mushy.
Here's the method.
Spaghetti (8 oz.) 4 cups water 7-8 minutes at power level 10 then 6-8 minutes at level6.
Macaroni or spiral noodles (2 cups) 3 cups water 6-7 min level 10 then 7-9 minutes level 6
Combine water with 1 T. oil and 1 teas salt.
Bring water to a boil at level 10
Stir in the pasta. Cover. I use saran wrap.
Cook at levels given above. Stir twice during cook time. Drain in colander and rinse in warm water.
Hint: You can bring a good sauce from home such as alfredo or spaghetti sauce. Or bring some left over veggie stir fry. Nuke your ramen noodles, dump the broth and pour your good sauce over them. You've got lunch that's fast, cheap and nutrituious.
