Answers: Looking for ideas- as I don't have enough fitted cupboards. Thank you.

i have a pantry set up in the utility room.
i only keep 2 cans of everything in my kitchen... when out i replace it with pantry stock. then keep a list of quanity so i know what needs to be replaced

i used to have the shelves set up in my basement at my old house bcse the kitchen was too small to set up a pantry.

i keep all my boxed goods in the pantry. cereal on top of the fridge.
flour and salt and sugar are kept in the pantry in the reallly big zip lock bags to keep buggies from them.

oh i keep everything label side out, tall in the back, short up front. so i know what i have.

i like to put the mustard near the ketchup and the rice on the pop tarts

Yes. My canned food and boxed food is all on one shelf.
My bags of flour, sugar, spices, mixes, sauces and syrups are on one shelf.
My snacks, bread, chips, etc. are all on one shelf, etc.

Do your shopping once or fortnightly and be sufficient for the week. It is good to have fresh and newly replenish foodstuff.

Alternatively buy some big storage boxes so that you can stack them up.

By product, but some people with OCD, like it done by colors.

boxes and different cupboards

I organize my canned goods by category like canned meats go together, canned veggies go together, canned fruits, canned juices, etc. Spices, dried herbs, and sauces all stay in one shelf, Pasta and flour stay in one shelf. I also use stackable containers for easy storage. As for fresh foods, I buy just enough stuff that's good for one week. Wish you the best!

Organize by product, and don't over stock.
