Can i bake a cake in a glass dish? I know silly question lol?!

Question: thanks

Answers: thanks

of course, are you making the cake from scratch or for ma box mix? cause the bottom of the box should say how long to cook it , maybe a few min. difference but not enough to change the timer.

yes you can.. i do it often... it just makes the edges browner and takes longer to cook. you have to keep your eye on it..

Yes. Just make sure it's a heatproof dish, such as Pyrex brand. Pyrex makes many shapes and sizes of glass baking dishes.

I use a glass pan to bake cakes in all the time. You might have to adjust the baking time and or temperature a little bit though.

yeah i make them all the time just make sure you add pam or some butter so that you can be sure it will come out.

absolutely--- if you are cooking meat though i would go by the meat temp to tell when it is don't not a cooking time but generally speaking things cook in glass faster

Yes you can. My wife and daughter do it all the time.
